This season of New York City theater is full of classics (Enemy of the People, Annie, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?); celebrity stars (David Schwimmer, Katie Holmes, Jake Gyllenhaal); and other special perks — from two Christmas-themed musicals to the chance to see Jonathan Franzen’s first play.
